A Saree Story!
THREE BLOGGERS | THREE SAREES | THREE STORIES
A saree is one piece of clothing treasured by every women. It’s safe to say a saree is a cherished heirloom that’s so feminine and valued. In this blog, we’re bringing to saree stories of three bloggers with their story ft. Sreetex
SUKANYA KAUR

Shopping for weddings is a herculean task and a small part of the ever-growing shopping list is to shop for the family and the immediate circle of relatives. Thanks to Sreetex you can now skip that arduous trip to Kancheepuram because they have quite a lot of options to suit everyone’s budget. Right from rich Kancheevaram sarees with silver zari to gift sarees, you name it and they have it. This Fanta-Orange saree that I picked from Sreetex is a processed ‘power loom’ silk saree with a grand pallu. This saree is so light and easy to carry off. Most importantly it doesn’t get wrinkled very easily. The body of the saree has self-embossed geometric weaves which gives it a grand appearance.

In short, I found this saree to be the perfect saree for gifting for your friends and relatives in the event of a wedding because it looks rich and grand and right in your budget as well.
PRIYANKA SATISH

Tying a few garland knots for my run of the mill temple visit in a very conventional Indian attire. Going all retro in this look of mine in collaboration with Sreetex. It’s wavy and flowing. A ravishing saree with vibrant colours like pink and green makes me look like a star, well rather a vintage star. A fab combination that can attract everyone’s attention.

The Savitri look has been doing the rounds and I wanted to be one more joining the troop as a tribute to the actress. Woh ! Her dressing style was very traditional and unique. She mostly wore very bold colours and beautiful blouse patterns. Her saree borders stole the show. It’s more of silk she exhibits. So I chose this Turning border Embose Silk Saree from Sreetex for this makeover. And Sreetex offers sarees at the most reasonable price and also in all range. It is the best retail shop for buying sarees in bulk especially for festive occasions and gifting sarees for your wedding.
VIDHYA JAIN

I’ve always had a saree phobia, but Sreetex is the brand that turned my fear into love. They have an extensive range of sarees to choose from at reasonable prices, you’ll be spoilt for choice. But I like to keep it simple and so I chose a feather light purple bengaluri silk with a simple border. Just the look and feel of the saree gave me so many ideas, a plain saree is like a playground! I let my creativity splurge and decided to go for a kalamkari blouse in mustard yellow, which will help the purple pop! Easy to tie, soft, flow-y and comfortable are the things that come to my mind when I think of describing this saree. A perfect work wear, add a little grandeur to the blouse and the look translates easily as festive wear! And shooting in Mahabalipuram in this saree made be believe, I can slay in a saree! LOL.

PS. I’m fidgeting so much with my hair because it was super windy and I couldn’t get one decent photo with my hair in place. (I know somebody will ask!)
